Swingset Kits |
|
Buy your own lumber and build a swing set. All the hardware and instructions are in the kit. Use the lumber list to purchase the wood at your local building supply. The play sets are designed to be built with a few basic tools. Different finish levels can also be applied to the wood. Pressure treated pine is used in the construction, and is readably obtained. Here are the quality features of our swing set kits. |

The optional scoop slide is sold separately. It can be purchased online with the kit. Add (2) 2x4x10' to the lumber list if you are purchasing a slide. The boards attach under each side of the slide. The optional picnic table under the 4x6 fort will require (2) 2x4x12' and (3) 2x8x8' for the table. |

The minimum tools required for drilling and cutting the lumber are a simple hand drill and a circular saw. You can speed up the fabrication of the pieces if you have a
chop saw and a drill press. It is also helpful to have a small table saw to rip some of the pieces. You will also need a Planer, Router, and a Sander if you plan to surface plane and round over the edges of the lumber. |
